Ai New York City faculty member John Bandman recently took his Sociology students to the Museum of Natural History. The objective of the trip was to visit exhibits showing cultural artifacts so that students can learn their historic significance. The group met up at Stout Hall of Asian Peoples where cultural artifacts were explored and John explained the heritage behind them. The students then examined the cultural backgrounds of various aspects of Africa and Central & South America in the adjoining exhibition halls.
A photo of John and the group appears above.

There are n number of places of historic significance in the city of New York and its really a great thing on the path of a faculty member to make the students aware about such places.
