Ai New York City faculty member SuZen will be holding an open studio located at Westbeth Artists Housing on Saturday March 9 from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. The open studio is part of The Armory Show Arts Week organized by High Line Open Studios. More than 49 other artists in the West Chelsea Arts District will also be opening their studios to the public on that day.
This is the first year that Westbeth Artists Housing has joined the ranks and SuZen along with other Westbeth artists will be opening their studios to the public. For more information visit www.highlineopenstudios.org.

AI NEW YORK CITY FACULTY MEMBER IN GROUP SHOW
Ai New York City faculty member William Gates' architectural work is currently featured in a group show entitled "Face to Face" at New York Institute of Technology's Gallery 61 on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The show opened on February 7 and will conclude this Thursday, February 28.

STUDENTS SELECTED FOR PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
For the past year Ai New York City has been awarding an additional form of institutional aid every quarter, called the Presidential Scholarship. Recipients receive the award for three quarters, and it is based on merit, as measured by: GPA, which must be 3.50 or higher; attendance; faculty letters of recommendation; involvement in the community; an essay; and other criteria.

MARCIA LLOYD PHOTOS FEATURED AT UPCOMING EXHIBITION
Ai New York City faculty member Marcia Lloyd will be exhibiting two of her photographs at an upcoming exhibition. The two-part exhibition, entitled "It's a Thin Line Between Love and Hate" opens this evening with the "Love" portion of the exhibition at United Photo Industries located on Front Street in Brooklyn.

HIGH SCHOOL ART TEACHERS' SHOW - APRIL
In April Ai New York City will be sponsoring an exhibition of High School art teachers from the greater New York City area entitled, What Those Who Teach Can Do. This is an opportunity for High School art teachers to participate in a group show here at the Ai New York City gallery and will draw on the success of last year’s show which featured the work of 18 local High School art teachers.
