AI NEW YORK CITY STUDENTS GET HIGH PRAISE ... AGAIN!

Ai New York City Instructor, Soosan Silanee engaged her Design Production Team class to re-design a "look-book" for an intimate apparel company (a real-life client).  The class project conducted last quarter was in the form of a competition for which the class was to recreate the "look book" for the upcoming intimate apparel show in February.  The clients chose Arielle Gerdes as the winner whose look book will be displayed at the show in February.  A letter that appeared on the company's blog had nothing but praise for the quality of work produced by everyone in Soosan's class:

"... We had the opportunity to work on a design project/contest with students from the Art Institute of New York City. Their project was to redesign our look book for the upcoming Intimate Apparel Boutique Show NY. It was such a rewarding and amazing experience! We were so impressed with the hard work and creative designs that came from the students. In the end we could only choose one design, which was tough since all of the students really did a fabulous job.

The winning look book was from Arielle Gerdes. Her beautiful illustrations really made an impact and showcased the line.  ... To see the full version stop by the show February 21st through 23rd!"

A sneak peak at Arielle's book appears in the link below.
