Ai New York City Digital Film instructor Ian Fischer has added yet another award to his already full shelf of accolades. This one is the Pioneer award for best editing from the Long Island Film Festival. The film,
Magritte Moment centers around a frustrated artist who finds his muse through the work of Belgian surrealist painter, Rene Magritte. Mr. Fischer will be honored at an awards ceremony, which will be held at The Scully Estate, (now Seatuck, a wildlife preserve) on May 14, 2011 from 7: pm – 11:00 pm in the estate’s ballroom.
